RMD has seen a strong demand for its products. Consequently, we have decided to start batch production, initially manufacturing 120 PMUs (Performance Monitoring Units) and 100 rear-view cameras for delivery this fall.

The Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV) has announced its intention to approve the patent application for Railway Metrics and Dynamics’ (RMD) self-developed weight sensor.

VÄTE Rail digitalizes its railway fleet with sensors from RMD. The total order value amounts to just over 3 million SEK, spread over three years. VÄTE Rail CEO Jan G. Forslund hopes that contract will be extended for many, many years.

TX Logistik, one of the largest freight railway companies in Europe, which belongs to Mercitalia Logistics (FS Italiane Group) is outfitting all trains in Sweden with rear-view cameras from Railway Metrics and Dynamics (RMD) to enhance the safety and efficiency of its freight transports.

RMD, through leading firm AWA Patent, has had its extensive patent portfolio valued at nearly 240 million SEK (20.71 million euros) for all published patents owned by the company. This valuation is based on a licensing model developed by AWA Patent.

Railway Metrics & Dynamics has received an order for a fully paid, wide-scale demonstration deployment of their train performance monitoring and derailment detection equipment in Brazil. This will be the first deployment of such high-tech train monitoring equipment in South America.
