First Delivery of Rear-view Cameras Completed

Today, the first shipment of 25 cameras is being sent to a government client. However, the high pace at the assembly plant in Karlsborg continues.

During the spring, Railway Metrics and Dynamics received several orders for both PMUs and rearview cameras. This, along with advanced discussions on further orders, led to the decision to begin series production. A total of 120 PMUs and 100 rearview cameras were to be manufactured — and now, 25 of the cameras have been delivered to a major government client.

– The interest in our rearview cameras has been significant, and series production means we are moving towards increasing revenue according to the business model we have chosen to work with, says Jan Lindqvist, CEO of Railway Metrics and Dynamics.

While the cameras are being assembled, production is also being prepared for a new product — a monitor mount that can be easily attached to the units used for remote control with radio control when operating trains.

– This accessory can provide substantial time savings, with improved visibility and higher precision when maneuvering trains in terminals or rail yards, concludes Jan Lindqvist.

Series production means we are moving towards increasing revenue according to the business model we have chosen to work with.
