Railway Metrics and Dynamics AB Refines its AI Technology Further with New Partial Financing
As part of the Swedish Transport Administration’s procurement “KOM-405140, Innovation Procurement – Regarding further development, validation, and delivery of new information services for automated measurement of railway infrastructure,” Railway Metrics and Dynamics has been awarded additional funding totaling 1 million SEK.
The financing is equally divided into two work packages, “Contact Line” – ref AF code AUC.292 and “Jointless Track” – ref AF code AUC.292. It is awarded within the framework of Stage 2 of the authority’s innovation procurement.
– This is a logical extension of the current scope of the MAJ project. The partial financing enables us to add even more value in the effort to secure operations in an ever-expanding and increasingly complex railway system.
Jan Lindqvist, CEO of Railway Metrics and Dynamics.
The work packages are focused on further development and refinement of RMD’s AI and Machine Learning technology – with the same objectives as the main project, i.e., efficient and continuous measurement of the infrastructure using the trains in operation.
The partial financing enables us to add even more value.
